WELCOME 2021

LET THE LEAGUE’S BEGIN!!

The year 2021 will be so much better I am sure, but there is one thing that was not taken away. We still had tennis. During all that “stay at home” time, many of us did get to hit the tennis courts so much more than we normally would have been able to. I believe many players went from a beginner status to a much higher level during all this time as well.

Thank heavens leagues will start again. Many players did not want to play in league matches last season because there was no winning or losing the division. Me, I was just happy to get out there and play. But this season, it is back to winning and losing. It’s back to moving up or moving down in the levels. It also means lines are “out” for many women and that’s still unfortunate but maybe all these months have made the “out” calls more accurate!!!!

Hopefully, it will be a great year for tennis and all tennis players. No matter what level you are playing. It’s a year to just enjoy playing the sport. It’s a year to enjoy the friendships on the court. It’s a year to have good sportmanship and good camaraderie.
